Bought this new headset, worked well for two days. Then the battery died and it won’t charge. Despite me using the USB plugged in whilst using it. I like the product but it’s no use if it does not charge. I don’t know how to solve it and it seems to be a structural problem for this model after looking it up.

Zocht een draadloze headset met een goede microfoon. Ik dacht hiermee een goede koop te doen aangezien de prijs en wat je ervoor krijgt. Helaas is alles net ondermaats: de headset is zwaar, de microfoon is ok maar heel zacht, zet je het harder dan krijg je achtergrondruis.

De earcups zijn zacht maar drukken hard op je oren, vooral aan de linkerkant waar de mic zit, die kant is gewoon zwaarder dan de rechterkant waardoor de headset oncomfortabel is om te dragen.
Het draadloze bereik is ook niet geweldig, als ik een paar meter loop begint het al te haperen, terwijl mijn goedkope bluetooth speaker en andere headset veel beter bereik hebben.
Batterijduur is best kort, na een uur of zes moet het alweer aan de oplader.

Het is geen slechte headset, maar had liever gehad dat de prijs hoger was, met een hogere kwaliteit.

Ik zou dit niet kopen als je het wilt gebruiken met je PS5, de connectie van de headset geeft interference met het Dualsense controller connectie waardoor je storing krijgt en je controller niet goed meer functioneert.

De media kon niet worden geladen.
 The build quality and comfort are very good. Too bad the mic is not detachable. The most weird and annoying thing is that when you set the EQ on your preference and turn on sidetone via the software on PC, it will not save it so you can use it while playing on console. You can only use these functions on PC. Very bad from Corsair in 2021. This is the reason why I will return this headset.

I take a lot of care for my electronics, and have had mine usually last ages. Despite that the earpads have partly come loose, no wonder considering all that was keeping them on was a thin line of glue.

Besides this, the sound leaves a lot to be desired for a headset of this price, destroying a lot of sound details. I bought this headset for the comfort of having a physical volume wheel and on-headphone mic. I've got a headset that is cheaper, yet produces better sound, and is more comfortable, and there are many like this. The Dolby Atmos license is a nice extra but it's nothing you can't get for the vast array of headsets with clearer sound, instead of the muddy sound these have.

Additionally, I sometimes find myself accidentally clicking the volume wheel, which switches equalisers. I have no desire to switch to these. I would expect for there to be a toggle to turn the feature off in the iCue software, or at least a way to remove the pre-installed equalisers or change their sliders to be in line, anything, but no.

On top of this there are other issues that I didn't mind too much, or well, not as much as the ones above. One of these is the range, which is just not good.
Another one are the earpads, which outside of the whole issue of being loose, don't feel particularly great either. They became better with time, but never ceased to annoy me. The fabric just doesn't feel good, it irritates, synthetic leather would, for example, have been much better, while not being expensive either. Even if they wouldn't want to do that, having the option to buy some other kind of earpads would be nice.

The only slight positives I could give are the microphone's sound quality, and sound prompts, kind of.
The microphone sound quality may be good, but the way it flips up instead of being attractable or removable, is just not great for something of this price.
As for the voice prompts, this has been one of the most pleasant voice prompts I've ever heard, they're not too loud, the voice sounds good, so, good on that.

But that's all for positives. To end it off, the warrantly only lasts a month, which is laughable for any piece of electronic hardware, especially ones with a price tag above €100.
All in all, this product is a joke.

Pas vraiment étonné par la qualité de ce casque, je possédais déjà un Corsair par le passé et ce sont de très bons casques.
Très confortable à porter, même pour de longues sessions de jeu, un son Dolby Atmos au top et un micro de bonne qualité.
L'autonomie de la batterie est très correct, je recommande ce casque sans aucun problème.

Tras haberles dado un tiempo prudencial de prueba a estos HS80 debo decir que es la mejor compra de auriculares en general que he hecho en mi vida.

Tras haber usado varios modelos de Sennheiser durante varios años (cuya calidad también es de otro mundo) no tengo dudas que la calidad, comodidad y conectividad que tienen estos auriculares son una pasada.

Primero que nada por lo ergonómicos que son, se ven muy premium, que pueden pesar, ¡pero no! Todo lo contrario, apenas si notas que están ahí en tu cabeza.

Además que tienen un método de ajuste bastante único y práctico. Hasta que le pillas la forma ya no volverás a ajustarlos otra vez. Se adaptan muy bien a cualquier tipo de cabeza, incluido mi cabezón.

Luego está la calidad de sonido que, vamos, con Dolby Atmos de por vida (sí, licencia de por vida, no como otros que no mencionaré…) te dan una profundidad y nitidez de sonidos que muchas veces piensas si estás usándolos o no.

He probado juegos, series, películas y debo decir que suenan tan bien como si estuvieses en el sitio. A lo cual recomiendo buscar cómo configurar propiamente el EQ directamente en la app de Dolby Atmos a tu gusto personal para disfrutarlos al máximo.

Y por último la conectividad. Por cable te ofrecen una mejor calidad de sonido y se cargan al mismo tiempo que los usas. Pero lo que más destaca es su dongle USB con tecnología Slipstream. Es conectar, encender y ¡listo!

Y si a esto le añades que piensas pillarte algún otro accesorio inalámbrico como un mouse o teclado Corsair que igual posean esta tecnología no necesitas tener 3 usb usados para cada uno, ¡con uno solo te vale! La latencia es imperceptible.

No puedo dudar que Corsair cada vez se supera más y más. Muchas gracias por crear este tipo de artículos que cambian como disfrutas el entretenimiento en general.

Bei mir fings mit dem Logitech G430 an. War für die damalige Zeit super- allerdings ließ die Qualität nach. ( Habs mir oefter geholt). In der Zwischenzeit ( Viel Zeit ist vergangen) habe ich einige Headsets und Kopfhoerer ausprobiert ( u. a. Studiokopfhörer von beyerdynamics ) und bin mit diesem Gerät hier absolut zufrieden und es ist das erste Headset seit langem was auch hohe Lautstärke hat, ohne Rauschen und das Kabellos! Die Mikrofon Qualität ist auch Top, Verarbeitung ist ne 1+. Kleinstes Manko ist für mich nur das es nicht verstellbar ist - ich hätte gerne das es ein wenig lockerer sitzt nach längerem tragen.
Akkulaufzeit ist Prima, hält für längere Sessions und so nach einem Tag muss ich erst laden, und das einfach per USB und kann währenddessen weiterzocken!
Die Ohrpolster sind aus nem angenehmen Stoff, den man wirklich garnicht merkt. Bei anderen Headsets ist meist so Kunstleder drüber und das blättert jedesmal schon nach Wochen ab.
Das Headset hat ne automatische Ausschaltfunktion - welche echt gut ist wenn man mal grad was anderes macht und vergessen hat es auszumachen und spart so Akkulaufzeit. (Nach ein paar Minuten Untätigkeit bzw. kein Sound geht es aus)
Außerdem kommt ein Sound wenn das Headset wenig Akku hat. Der kommt dann auch alle paar Minuten immer wieder bis man es auflädt.
Bis jetzt hab ich von 30 - 200 Euro immer einiges an Kopfhoerern und Headsets ausprobiert und das hier ist mit Abstand das beste in allen Belangen. Technik hat sich weiterentwickelt und das zeigt dieses Exemplar deutlich. Ich habe sonst fast ausschließlich nur verkabelte Headsets getragen und die Wireless Dinger die ich bis dato ausprobiert hatte waren entweder am Rauschen, Qualität nicht gut oder der Akku gab schnell seinen Geist auf.
Ich schreibe sonst nie Rezensionen aber bei dem Ding hier muss man auch einfach mal loben und da nehme ich mir sogar gerne die Zeit. Einfach Top und wenn man sich mal endlich was vernünftiges zulegen will sollte man hier zugreifen. Preis Leistung 5/5

The most comfortable headset I have ever used, incredibly light and yet a quality build. Doesn't pinch, pull or press, and wearing them for hours upon hours out of the box was no trouble. I wear glasses under the headset, this has caused no irritation at all for me- although I do have lightweight and thin frames. It's filtering out most the background noise from our home, I can't hear the door bell or TV but I can hear the dog barking.

Out of the box this headset does NOT have good sound for FPS/survival. The depth/direction is impossible to pinpoint. Where I (with Sennheiser Game One) used to be able to point out shots on the exact number on the compass, I now will have a sort of "south-south west ish" sort of idea where sounds are coming from. And the distance is much harder to pinpoint. Out of the box they could be anywhere, even above me, it was a complete mess. To combat this you HAVE TO install Dolby Atmos via the Windows Store, it will then auto-sort the license and apply spatial sound in Windows. You can then tweak it in the Dolby app to sound much better for whatever game you are playing. Before doing this I literally couldn't tell if the sound came from left or right, it was just everywhere and above all at once. Some sounds will sound more metal-y and "thin" than you are used to if you are coming from a higher quality headset, and with the added Dolby Atmos the overall sound levels will be a bit lower than it is from the box. Still more than loud enough though, as it's borderline too loud out of the box.

For playing strategy games, watching youtube, chatting etc, it's an amazing headset and needs very little adjustments. It's ready to go with the iCUE software, where there are a couple presets to choose from.
The microphone is great out of the box, needed nothing at all. It does mute itself sometimes a couple times a week, I don't know why, I just have to troubleshoot the mic in windows and it will unmute it.

Turn off all and any light effects to have longer battery life. The battery isn't that big, likely to ensure it's a lightweight headset. Any lighting will drain the battery and you don't see the lights anyway. I have it all off, when I am on a gaming binge I easily get 8 hours of play time and still not fully depleted at that point. I see others mentioning only getting 6 hours out of them but that has not been the case for me. You can choose how long it will stay active before automatically shutting off, which is great, I put mine to 10 minutes but could probably do with just 5 to save even more battery. Turns on in 2 sec anyway.

All in all I am very pleased with the headset, just wish the positional audio was a lot better as I do play a lot of FPS/survival games where that is key. If that part of the audio was on point from the start this would be a smash hit for me. I will keep this as it's super comfy and I needed to go wireless, and the audio is good enough now that it's been tweaked. I would recommend getting this on a discount/from the Amazon warehouse if you are getting it. If positional audio is more important to you and you can miss a little of the comfort, the Pro X is maybe the better choice in the same price range.
